The name Topvar is actually made up of : 1)first half of the name of the city where the beer is being brewed....which is Topolcany, Slovak Republic....hence TOP 2)word "var" means "brew" in Slovak language. Thus: TOPVAR = brew from city of Topolcany in Slovak republic. (Thanks Jiri)
